The CAT is available 365 days a year from the early morning until late in the evening. Whether arriving or departing: The CAT is always easy to reach. It takes only a few steps from the baggage claim area at the airport to the CAT station. In Wien-Mitte/Landstraße you will find the CAT at one of the most important public transport hubs. The first train from Wien-Mitte departs at 5:37 am, the last train from the airport to Wien Mitte at 11:38 p.m. You can find the timetable here.
City Air Terminal Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H. (CAT) was founded at the end of February 2002. It is a joint venture of Flughafen Wien AG and ÖBB with an ownership ratio of 50.1% (Flughafen Wien AG) to 49.9% (ÖBB).
Travel more comfortably with the CAT City Check-in
The City Check-in offers passengers all the services of an airport terminal: Here you can check in your baggage from 24 hours and up to 75 minutes before departure, receive your boarding pass and enjoy the rest of your journey in comfort and without stress. Your Luggage is transported reliably and safely to the aircraft.
Barrier-free accessibility
The CAT is easy to access at ground level - CAT staff are also happy to help. The train itself has wide aisles and areas reserved for wheelchair users. PRM tickets are available from the train attendants in the stations or on the train. The train's wet rooms are not barrier-free, but the WC facilities at both end destinations are accessible.
Certification
City Air Terminal Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H. is TÜV AUSTRIA certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015 and SMS according to EisbG § 39 and EU Directive 2004/49/EC, taking into account the assessment criteria according to Annex II of Regulation 1158/2010/EU.
