At the counter in the arrivals hall, in the baggage claim area, or on the platform: our staff is there to take care of your needs. The platform at the airport is just a 5-minute walk from the check-in and baggage claim area. Follow the green signs.
Upon arrival: We welcome you directly at our counter in the baggage claim area. While your luggage is still on its way to you, you can purchase your CAT tickets or even sightseeing-tickets for yout stay in Vienna right there. You can do this either at our ticket machines or directly with our staff. Our empolyees are always on site to provide you with all the information you need for your journey to the city center or to answer any questions you may have about your stay in Vienna.
Traveling with the CAT is also worthwhile before your departure. If you have already checked in your luggage at the CAT foyer in Wien Mitte, your hands are free for a relaxed journey to the airport. There, you will find a wide selection of restaurants and shops even before the security check. In the gate area, a large variety of shopping and dining options also awaits you.
To make your time at Vienna Airport even more pleasant, there are several extras: shorter waiting times with FastTrack, various porter services, or two exclusive lounges. CAT foyer in Wien Mitte
The CAT station is just a 15-minute walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. In addition to comfortable waiting facilities, you will also find the CAT City-Check-in, which is unique in Europe. Check in your baggage here (all information about CAT City Check-in) and enjoy the rest of the time until your departure in Vienna. In the shopping center Wien Mitte The Mall you will find around 60 stores and several premium restaurants to round off your stay in Vienna.
Wien Mitte station (Landstraße) is also ideally connected to the public transport network: The two subway lines U3 and U4, the Vienna rapid transit network, tram O and bus line 74A all run via this junction.
Or you can spend the short time until the departure of the next CAT in our foyer. You can either surf our complimentary WiFi, browse through our freely available magazines or store your hand luggage in one of our lockers. There are also charging stations for smartphones, tablets and other devices. You can also find vendig machines with refreshing drinks and coffee.
Opening hours:
The CAT foyer is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. (after 11:00 p.m. only for arriving passengers from Vienna Airport). Our counters are open daily between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
The core opening hours of the shopping center are from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. However, there are a few stores and restaurants with special opening hours, which are also open on Sundays and public holidays: Wien Mitte THE MALL opening hours.
